// Acceptable Use Policy

What you can and cannot use LookStage for.

LookStage is a hairstyle preview tool. To keep it safe for users, payment partners and the public web, we strictly prohibit certain content and behavior. Violations may result in immediate account suspension, generation refusal, refund denial and reporting to law enforcement.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to every photo you upload, every generation request you submit, every account you create and every interaction with the LookStage service, including its APIs, generated outputs, support channels and any third-party integration we offer.

It is read together with the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. By using LookStage you confirm that you understand and agree to these rules.

Strictly prohibited content

Sexually explicit, pornographic, fetish or NSFW imagery in any form, whether the subject is real or AI-generated.

Any sexualized depiction of minors. We have a zero-tolerance policy. Suspected child sexual abuse material will be reported to the relevant authorities, including NCMEC where applicable, and the underlying account will be permanently terminated.

Photo-realistic deepfakes or face-swap previews of real people — including public figures, celebrities, politicians and private individuals — without their verifiable consent.

Imagery that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, self-harm, suicide, graphic violence or animal cruelty.

Content that incites or celebrates hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or national origin.

Content that infringes intellectual property rights, including unauthorized brand logos, copyrighted character likenesses or counterfeit goods imagery.

Prohibited behavior

Uploading photos of another person without their permission.

Using LookStage to harass, defame, blackmail, dox or impersonate any individual.

Attempting to bypass authentication, credit charging, rate limits, content filters or any other technical control.

Automated scraping, bulk account creation, credit-stuffing or any other abuse intended to consume resources, evade pricing or extract data.

Reselling, redistributing or framing LookStage outputs as the work of a different service, brand or person without disclosure.

Minors and sensitive subjects

If you upload a minor's photo, you must have the legal right to do so and you must use age-appropriate, conservative styling settings only.

We do not support adult-styling, body-modification or sexualized direction on photos identified as a minor.

Public figures and historical persons may only be styled in clearly non-deceptive, non-defamatory, transformative ways. We may refuse generation when a request reasonably appears intended to mislead or to harm reputation.

Content moderation

Generation notes are screened with automated safety rules before credits are charged or a job is queued. Uploaded photos and generated outputs may also be reviewed through provider safeguards, support escalation or manual checks when required, but the current MVP does not claim a full third-party image moderation pipeline.

We may decline to process a request, refund the spent credits, hide a result, or remove already-generated outputs at any time if a request appears to violate this policy.

Decisions made by automated safety rules are not final — you can ask for a human review by emailing [email protected] with your account email and the relevant job reference.

Reporting violations

If you believe a generation, account or use of LookStage violates this policy — including unauthorized use of your likeness — email [email protected] with as much detail as possible: account email, links, screenshots and the specific concern.

Suspected child sexual abuse material can be reported to the same address and will be escalated immediately.

Enforcement

Depending on severity and history, violations may lead to: a warning, removal of specific outputs, suspension of generation, freezing of remaining credits, full account termination, refund denial for already-consumed credits, civil claims for damages and reporting to law enforcement.

If your account is terminated for a Category 1 violation — including child sexual abuse material, non-consensual sexual imagery and credible threats of violence — unused credits are forfeited.

Updates

We may update this policy as the product evolves, as our payment processor's compliance rules change, or as new categories of harmful use emerge. The current version is identified by the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page.

Material changes that expand the list of prohibited content take effect for new generations from the date of update. Existing accounts can always email support to ask about the change.
